If you could have anything in the world, anything at all, what would it be?
Alexander Claremont-Diaz has clawed his way into Hollywood despite all the hurdles in his way, and now he's starring in his dream movie—a queer romcom adapted from one of his favorite books, Roses, Wisteria, and Royal Bluebells. However, he barely has the chance to be excited before he finds out who his costar is. The privileged, white, bigoted Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor.
The last thing Alex wants is to be associated with Henry more than he already has to, but a fateful interview and a few choice words against Henry turns him into enemy number one in Hollywood. To fix it, he has to pretend to be Henry's best friend and show the entire world his comments were nothing but friendly banter. However, as he gets inevitably tangled up in Henry's life, he realizes not everything is as it seems, and Henry might be hiding his own demons that might change everything.

Alex Claremont-Diaz is a star on the rise.
A wildcard up-and-coming new actor who finds himself thrust into the Hollywood limelight when he’s nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his small-budget indie movie. It’s his more than he could have imagined in his wildest dreams. That is, until he discovers that also in his category is his mortal enemy: Henry Fox – generically attractive, completely boring and part of an acting dynasty that stretches back generations. In short, everything Alex hates about Hollywood.
So when a comment Alex makes about Henry in an interview goes viral, and the two find themselves thrust together through awards season, Alex can’t help but think his dream has become his worst nightmare.
Except, maybe – just maybe – Henry isn’t quite what he seems.

Now, it might be pretty early in the morning and Alex’s brain functions might not be working as quickly as they normally do, but he can still put two and two together. There's a strange man in their kitchen. Henry is shirtless, rumpled, and holding two pairs of boxers. Henry and this Sam guy slept together. Which… obviously is fine because Alex is not an asshole, but he’s definitely feeling something about this development that he will examine at a later date. But of course, instead of saying something normal, you know, like a normal person would, he says, “Ohh.” Like a fucking weirdo.
