Summary
“Please, take a rest.” Eternal sugar said softly, her words sweet and careful. “You’ve always been so quick to fight for your people, but have you ever thought about yourself?”
Hollyberry thought for a moment, taking in the surroundings. She had always fought for her people's problems, but never for her own. Before she could reply, she felt a soft hand brush against her cheek. She looked up and met the other’s loving gaze.
Eternal sugar smiled softly, and slowly dropped her hand from Hollyberry’s face. “All hardworking cookies have to take a rest,” Eternal sugar said, fluttering her long eyelashes.
A small cherub was watching them from the top of it, fidgeting with his heart shaped arrows and gently pulling on his icing. As soon as Hollyberry caught him from the corner of her eye, he flew off.
As Eternal sugar sat next to her, she gracefully put her wings around Hollyberry. “Please, try to forget your worries and troubles, and for the first time in a long time, allow yourself a moment of rest. Just for you alone~” the other continued.
“Just ...for me?” Hollyberry replied, confused.
“Yes, just for you.”
