Summary
When Johnny Gage goes from bouncy, happy about everything in life to withdrawn not talking to anyone in just under twenty-four hours, his partner and coworkers are all worried about him. Especially when he keeps denying anything is wrong and keeps hiding away in other parts of the station from the rest of the crew. A major MVA brings everything to light, and then all that's left to do is heal up.

Summary
When Johnny Gage first hears about the paramedic program, he decides it's not for him because he doesn't want to ride an ambulance. When he meets Roy DeSoto, he changes his mind and enters the program, hoping to be paired with Roy once he's graduated out. His first meeting with the head of emergency medicine at Rampart, and one of the main instructors in the program, Dr. Kelly Brackett leads to the darkness that lurks within the hearts of men. The conditions for Johnny to remain in the program turn his stomach, but he's determined to graduate and pair with Roy in the field. When the conditions continue, and when they get dangerously violent, he has to make a decision. There's a doctor that's not as good as everyone believes him to be.
