Every time Illuga and Flins happened to spend time together, Flins would find his emotional endurance being tested. He felt so selfish—wanting to monopolise Illuga’s attention, touch, everything. The turmoil of emotions became worse when Jahoda leaned into Illuga’s ear, whispering something that Flins couldn’t make out.
