Summary
Katara felt like she was waking up from a long slumber, one of those that grace you once in a lifetime, where your muscles feel stiff after lying motionless for a long time and yet your mind indulgently asks for some more time. This was funny considering she didn’t remember sleeping for more than 2 hours in day because while healing Aang. As her consciousness returned slowly, she heard a weird murmuring sound.
It was a man's voice, a very deep raspy voice which murmured, "Come back to us, Katara. Come back to me." And was he holding her hand in a gentle grip? She slowly opened her eyes, squinting at the sudden light and then..... It was all red.

Toph needed a new firebending teammate like she needed her feet.Chit Sang was getting on her last nerve with his showboating and zero skill to back it up. Worse, he’d started slacking off on training, which annoyed Sugar Queen more than it did Toph—but still, a loss was a loss. The Flying Boars had suffered their first defeat because of poor teamwork, and that was unacceptable.
Avatar help her, his contract was ending in a week.
Toph already had someone in mind. A firebender she’d heard about through various channels—someone just as tightly wound as Katara. But still, a perfect match for their team.

The way Aang had described his Chakras opening : A stream gurgling open and flowing joyfully after a block that was removed. Her cheeks felt hot and she had to break away from his intense gaze. Zuko also looked away suddenly as they heard a knock at his door.
