Scarab finds himself unable to turn Prismo away when the Wishmaster, stumbling about as a human mage, turns up at his doorstep begging for help in undoing a wish.
Because of Prismo's foolishness, there is a new Wishmaster in the Time Room wreaking havoc without care for his prospective wishers. Despite Scarab's preoccupation with Prismo's weakened and clumsy human form, and the dangers present from the new Wishmaster's slowly-growing control, Scarab can't help but wonder why Prismo granted such a wish in the first place.

Lucifer snaps him out of his thoughts by fully invading his space. He’s placed his glass down, pulled himself up onto his hands and knees, and now he’s all but crawling into Alastor’s lap. He places a finger on Alastor’s chest, touch searing even through his suit jacket.
