The man turned his face, giving Lance a clear view of his side profile. Lance's heart dropped, and he sucked in a large breath.
His hair was dark, there was a white streak at the front, in the exact spot. The exact same spot. A thousand thoughts raced through his head, each more insane than the last. All competence left him, not that he had much to begin with. He uttered a single word, a single name, so powerful it left Lance's knees shaking.
“Shiro?”

Summary
When their mission to Zygerria goes sideways, Anakin accepts the Queen's deal.
It's been two years since his death.
Padmé is heartbroken, but she continues to be strong for the Republic. Obi-wan is broken, but he needs to put up a front for his new padawan. Ahsoka struggles to fit back into her old life without Skyguy. She just knows he's still out there even if the Jedi won't believe her.
And Anakin, well he doesn't quite know who he is supposed to be anymore. A brave hero, or a submissive slave? Whispers of freedom and a life he once had haunt him as he drowns everything out. He wants that life back, but he doesn't dare run from the one he has now.

“Does it go beyond us?” She asked, voice barely above a whisper. “Does Keith Kogane matter to you more than I do?”
“I need to find him, Allura. I need to.”
"No," her voice cracked. "You want to."(Or, the one where there are spells to remind you of things you've forgotten, and Lance wakes up one day to find he's forgotten an entire person. Keith Kogane's name burns on his wrist, and he will find him. Even if it kills him.)
