Summary
A legal document, forgotten but not erased, drags a man who has just walked away from everything back to the bedside of the woman he left behind, forcing them to navigate the wreckage of her body and their shared history. Now he must decide how far he is willing to go to help bring the woman he loves back.
With this love like a hole
Swallow my soul
Draggin me down
And I swear I'll stay with you
But I just can't forgive you
And I'll never be whole again

Summary
This has been sitting in my google docs for a very, very long time, pretty much the way it's being posted. It originally wasn't supposed to end here, but I've never had the ambition to finish writing the next scene - the actual photography. The mapping of her scars, so to speak. But the truth is, I'm just really tired of writing about them fighting and reconciling, yet I can't seem to get past the way it's (so far) been left in canon. Looking back at this WIP, I think it stands alright the way it is - another fix-it scene, really. They can go so many places (emotionally, romantically, physically) once they've simply fixed what they broke, and those places are so much more fun to write about.
