Paired with the easy admittance and the genuine smile on Future Oikawa’s face that signals how easily happiness comes to him nowadays, Hajime bites his lip in a valiant effort not to cry, because he is looking at the face of someone who is confident he has made the right choice and never regretted it, not for a second, not for a breath.
Present Oikawa’s eyes widen, and he presses his lips tightly together in that face Hajime knows he always makes when he’s trying desperately not to cry.
