Castiel left his house that night with a single thought in mind - ending it all. He paid the rent, made amends, and found the perfect spot - a peaceful bridge, distant from the noise and activity of urban life. It was important, since he'd always been a man seeking sense and logic in the world around him.
Even if that world never seemed to try and understand him back.Ready to take the last step, Castiel is, however, very rudely interrupted by a drunkard.
Or so it seems.
Also, said drunkard (a handsome one, Castiel has to admit) keeps trying to invite him for coffee while insulting his fashion choices.Needless to say, tonight, Castiel understands the world even less than before.

Summary
When Cas wakes for the first time after his surgery, there’s sunlight tentatively streaming through the window to his right.
It takes him a while of uncoordinated blinking and thinking until he realizes where he is, why he’s here. And then the giddiness comes, sudden and overwhelming, when he looks down at his chest and there is none.
The reality is almost too much to grasp and his hands shake a little when he tries to raise them to touch.He's happy, and giddy, and so thankful.
And then a nurse wheels in his new roommate, one very obnoxious and flirty Mr. Winchester.
Cas just... cannot wait to watch all of this play out.Series

Summary
Thrift shops are not for the poor, they are for the very poor and desperate. Who would want pre-owned clothes that smell like someone else, that no matter how many times you wash them, they never lose the original owner's scent? Someone who doesn’t have any other options, someone like Castiel.
However, one day, in the lead-up to Christmas, he catches the scent of an alpha (who smells exactly like apple pie) on a $3 second-hand trench coat, that makes him do stupid things.
In a world where alphas are given all the advantages of life, there aren’t many options for omegas. It is either find an alpha to support you or live a life well below the poverty line. Castiel had chosen the second option. It seemed noble at first, but after a decade on his own, life continues to wear him down.
All that changes when he meets the jacket's original owner (and promptly throws up on him), causing him to rethink his decision.
