Summary
Maester Aemon still has his sight when Jon Snow arrives at Castle Black to swear his vows. Targaryen’s might have typically had pale hair and purple eyes, but Maester Aemon would recognise his family anywhere.
His vows have been tested three times before. This is his fourth and final test and, after nearly eighty years of being a bystander at the Wall whilst his family destroyed themselves, Aemon decides that enough is enough. He’s been a man of the Nights Watch for most of his life; but he’s been a Targaryen all his life.
He might be old and trapped at the Wall, but he grew up in Kings Landing and no one knows the Game of Thrones like he does.
And so, everything changes.

What happens when Ned sends word to Jon to bring Daenerys across the sea to form an alliance with Robb through marriage as the war of the five kings breaks out and the threat of the Others looms near?

It is focused on Daenerys and Jon and the story revolves around their experience.
