Summary
Qifrey wanted nothing more than to make the podium with Olruggio by his side. Beldaruit wants nothing more than for Qifrey to slow down so he doesn't burn himself out.
The Qualifiers are months away and after being forced on holiday by his Coach Qifrey is forced to deal with more than the stress of making a good program. With Olruggio closer than he has been for a few years so many emotions come swirling back to the surface. Which will come first: Qifrey going home with Gold, Silver or Bronze, or Qifrey finally acting on those deep rooted emotions he's had since he was a child.

Olruggio might have been embarrassed if he was not so grateful for the chance at small talk. "I didn't think you'd remember me."
"Your accent is unique. Are you from up North?"
"From Ghodrey. My name is Olruggio."
A second wave of surprise blossomed on Qifrey's features upon hearing his name. Olruggio felt a thrill of satisfaction and pride. Qifrey did know him.
He couldn't wait to tell Alaira.
"My name is Qifrey, it's nice to meet you." He paused a moment, then continued, "I've heard your name before, Olruggio. The townsfolk speak of you like you're some kind of miracle worker. I suppose you are, Olruggio the witch."

Summary
Qifrey had noticed Olruggio’s voice changing over the last several months, losing its scratchy boyish quality and deepening, but feeling it rumble against his chest and stomach was simply Bad News. He realized his eyebrows and eye were scrunched tight enough that he would give himself a headache, and he forced his eye open. Past the mop of Olly’s hair were Alaira’s grey eyes, alight with mischief and peering down at him. She could clearly read every thought in his head right now and smirked at his peril. At least she was here to sour the mood. He might just survive this!

When a little bird told Qifrey that a new teacher will be working at Silverwood Public School, he made it his mission to make this teacher’s stay as pleasant as possible. He thought of a plan to meet this new science teacher, show them around and invite them for lunch and eventually develop a hopefully long lasting connection.
