Summary
Dazai always held a disregard when it came to second genders. He had mastered the art of controlling himself and his pheromones purely because he thought it was stupid to be led by primal instinct. He was a man of practicality and to hell with being led with something as dumb as what they call "instinct".
Though was that really where all his rage was rooted at?Ofcourse, he was all too aware about how much harder omegas had it. No matter how modern the world progresses, the prejudice held against omegas was evident. They were expected to be weak, pliant, submissive, and tools for breeding. He'd never been one to see them that way but he'd be a hypocrite to say an omegas "fuck me" Pheromones weren't enticing for the likes of him.
Ofcourse, he thought he knew it all about the world, having tasted all the poisons it could offer. Yet—just as his luck may have it—not a sea of alcohol could intoxicate him as much as a drop of a certain omega has.

Summary
Osamu Dazai never wanted to become a doctor. As a second-year medical student at Yokohama university he doesn’t want to graduate and work at his father’s elite, multi-billion-dollar hospital, he studies not out of passion, but obligation. Medicine is simply another inheritance he never asked for.
Chuuya Nakahara never meant to fall apart in a city that isn’t even his own. A first-year literature student from France, newly arrived in Yokohama with his sister Kōyō, Chuuya’s only goal is to graduate and go home. But when he’s diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis — a progressive disease that slowly steals control of the body — finishing college becomes the least of his worries.
When Dazai quite literally runs into the fiery redhead on campus, he expects irritation, not obsession. He expects flirtation, not fear. And he certainly doesn’t expect the tremor in Chuuya’s hands to drag him back into the world of medicine he’s been trying to avoid.
For the first time, Dazai doesn’t want to escape.
He wants to stay.
But some diseases don’t care how badly you want to save someoneBookmarked by Mimoistrulytrue

Summary
Chuuya is fighting for every breath in a hospital ward his brother can barely afford, while Dazai is trying to throw his life away in a private suite he despises. It’s the illogical collision of a boy who wants to die and a boy who is being forced to—and neither of them is ready for what happens when they actually start to care.

Summary
Two months earlier:
“Do you really want to raise our baby here, Chuuya? In this horrible, disgusting place?” Dazai’s voice was uncharacteristically raw as he sat beside his pregnant husband on the couch. For once, there was no sarcasm, no inconsistency—just helplessness. “Don’t you think Oda was right?”
And now…
The moment Chuuya pieced it all together in his mind, his body lurched with the reflex to retch. A deep discomfort burned in his throat as his nails dug into the skin of his own neck. He shut his eyes, struggling not to lose his sanity.
Dazai did it. The moment Chuuya gave birth, Dazai had taken their baby from him and fled the Port Mafia. He ran. He ran. He ran. He ran. He deceived Chuuya.
“Dazai…” Chuuya’s pupils dilated with sudden, shattering realization, and he screamed.
