There is the soft hum of the fridge and freezer section in the space, music crackling over the speakers and the faint charter of people. Steve ignores the call of “Pretty boy?” sure he is hallucinating it again. He gets hallucinations a lot right before and during, it is not always a teasing Billy Hargrove’s voice that fills his ears but since he spent all of last year plastered to Steve’s back they have been recurring frequently.

Steve's night is going the worst possible way.
After getting dumped by Nancy at a work event, he caught her kissing Jonathan Byers, drank a bit too much, and made an ass of himself in front of his boss, so he's pretty sure he's not only single and very tipsy, but also fired.
To top it off, this is not his Uber. The guy driving it doesn't look like "Angela", and the backseat is full of plastic sheets and hardware tools, oh, crap, he's gonna get killed, isn't he?

Then Harrington’s omega scent wafts down, covering him like a thick blanket. Billy takes a long, stuttering breath out of instinct. Harrington matches him. In. Out. In. Out. Together, like a bunch of fucking hippies. Harrington’s fingers find their way back to Billy’s upper shoulder, squeezing gently in sync to their breathing. Billy whines and squeaks as strong hands melt the stiff muscles of his neck. He moves to raise a hand to his mouth, to swallow his fist and shut himself up. Harrington, the fucker, wraps his mole dotted legs around Billy’s shoulder to stop him. Billy whimpers and leans back, resigned to his fate.
