And now look at us,” Baltor whispered, taking a strand of her hair and winding it around his finger. “The things I could do to you, right here, right now. I could take away your sight, carve out your wings, braid a rope with your pretty Enchantix hair and strangle you with my own hands.”
“Hmm, creative. But unlikely.” Bloom pushed away his hand and gave him an unimpressed look. “You’re not going to kill me, Baltor.”
“Indeed, I’m not,” he echoed calmly, as if he were just coming to the revelation himself. “Which makes me wonder what in the Dragon’s name I’m going to do next.”
