"Hey Nightlight" Jason greets as he walks in, turning the corner just in time to see the way Kyle's entire face lights up as he registers who it is. He's not sure anyone's ever looked so happy to see him.
"Jace!" Kyle smiles, spinning towards him and nearly tripping over his own feet in his haste. He crashes into him a bit awkwardly but it doesn't matter, not when he's here, in his arms.
And he's waited long enough, he wasn't ever waiting again.
