Hob was sweating like the room had turned into a sauna. His eyes hardly flicker towards the chat, but he finds his mind filling with similar filthy thoughts: how’d he’d want to pin him down and fuck the ever-loving daylights out of him, how he’d stick his fingers in his mouth, his ass, wherever he’d allow, whispering how good of a job he was doing, how’d he’d do absolutely anything to hear those deep, breathless moans grace his eardrums in real time, whispering his name ever so sweetly.
God, he hadn’t even heard the cam model talk and he knew it’d be the sweetest sounds human kind had ever formed.
Morpheus is a student with a secret camboy persona and a terrible attitude fueled by self-destruction. Hob is a love-sick, lonely professor with a little bit too much cash to spend and a little too much affection to give. They find one another online, all while Hob is still teaching Morpheus outside their sessions. When lines are crossed and hearts are pining, the pair begin speaking outside the website, unaware of each other's identities. Both of them find out what happens when you get a little too attached to someone you’ve “never met.”

Summary
After saving the life of the dragon Death of the Endless, Hob Gadling is given a boon - near-eternal life, same as the Dragon bestowing the gift. He finds himself in the castle of the Endless, serving the very family of dragons (or rather, one in particular) that had gifted him his long life.
Dream of the Endless does not need a caretaker, does not need a minder, but after Hob Gadling has been his Caretaker for more than a century, he has, perhaps, grown accustomed to the human. At least he does not mind Dream's sharp tongue.
Now, all would be well if Dream could, after centuries of looking, find his Rider, his other half, the one destined for him.

Summary
There’s not much use thinking about those times, anymore. He will always be Hob Gadling, but the biggest part of what that used to entail had stormed away on a rainy night like this one hundred and thirty years ago, and hadn’t come back.
Hob remembers the ache in his chest in 1989. He remembers the glow of the pub, so much warmer than the pale light cutting across the alley now. He remembers staring at that empty chair for hours—first with anxiety, then with concern, and eventually with bitterness.
“You dare suggest one such as I might need your companionship.”
Hob had dared, and he’d paid for it.
He’d walked out of that pub in 1989 and not looked back.

You know this story.
An amateur sorcerer attempts to ensnare Death but gets her brother instead due to the meddling of another sibling.
Dream spends a century trapped in a glass cage in a cellar.
His raven is murdered in front of him.
And the only reason he escapes is because of a wheel smearing gold paint across the floor, allowing Dream to enact his revenge.
