There was a familiar pink stain on Alastor’s chin.

“How much did they give you?”
“At least a bottle. Most likely more.”
At least three doses, then, probably four or five, depending on how much Alastor had managed to avoid. Vox glanced at more pink stains on his white sheets, further spillage, another dose he’d dodged, before realising how close his eyes were wandering to his nemesis’ waist.

“So…” he heard Alastor say as the lights flickered on, “how are we doing this?”
He licked his lips, swallowing, he turned around to look at his boyfriend.
Alastor stood in front of him, head tilted slightly, arms folded behind his back, smiling with his usual half-lidded expression. Vincent closed the small distance between them in a step, he brought his hand to Alastor’s face, cupping his cheek, leaning down to give him a peck on the lips.
“Let’s just take this slow, okay?” Vincent said. “Ease into it.”
He noticed Alastor swallow before nodding.
“Okay.”
