It's quiet out in the field aside from his question. As he asks it, he points to the swath of stars above you both.
"Yeah, we have stars. Though none of them live in a house like Sally." You say. Wally hums but doesn't give much of a response beyond that.
Velvet fingers slowly slip between yours, but you don't look down from your stargazing.

Summary
Purple has never quite recovered from Red's betrayal after the reactor disaster. Their dismissal from MIRA left them broke and struggling for employment, so when Red appeared on their doorstep to offer them a job at the Skeld, they had little choice but to accept.
But being on the Skeld doesn't mean that Purple has forgiven Red. In fact, they go out of their way to avoid any interaction and lock themselves in the security room for hours on end.
Seeing no other (rational) option, Red comes up with a deluded plan in an attempt to get Purple to talk to them. But will it work? Or will it only deepen the chasm that already mars their relationship?

Purple doesn't trust Green, and has been avoiding them since the reveal- even if Blue SAYS theyre not going to kill the entire crew when nobodies looking, the fear of not truly knowing what Green even is just eats at Purple.
Green has an idea to help Purple get a bit more.. familiar.
