Summary
Captain Raymond Reddington has been leading his team of Detectives for a long time now. When the Chief retires and he is passed up for the promotion because they hire someone else he isn't very enthusiastic about it. The team has been through a lot together and they are a solid team. When the new Chief, Harold Cooper comes in and wants to do team bonding there is a little protest about it from the team. Rookie Detective, Donald Ressler could be the one to cause trouble for the team with the new Chief. Or is it the growing bond between Captain Reddington and Detective Elizabeth Keen that causes issues for the team in the end?

Raymond Reddington and his teenage daughter Madeline live on a small farm in a small town. He is the shop teacher at the high school and good friends with Principal Harold Cooper and his wife Charlene. In this small town most everyone knows everything about everyone. So being a single dad for the last 9 years has been rough. His daughter is finishing up the end of her junior year in high school and he will soon be alone in his big farm house.
