Frederick is stressed, but not for the reason Robin thinks. The tactician wants the knight to feel valued and important, but what Frederick really needs is quite different from what Robin expects. Luckily, Robin learns he needs the same.

    Summary

Robin’s hands were one of Chrom’s favorite parts of the tactician.

They were long and bony, with prominent knuckles and well trimmed nails. His hands had been trained through what were clearly years of writing. The silvernette’s grip on a pencil was elegant. Lissa had once called them creepy because of their appearance. He couldn’t disagree more. They brought him comfort; the feeling of those knuckles kneading against his skin every time a scar acted up, or the way the veins were more visible when Robin was focused on writing. Beautiful.

But now those hands were scarred beyond repair, and it was all Chrom’s fault.

Or; Chrom deals with his feelings of guilt over Robins recent battle scars.
