Albus could already see the signs, as the slytherins and even some students from other houses already seemed to follow her like doormats, as more and more students who fell victim to her anger ended up in the infirmary with serious injuries. Especially after the Chamber had been opened last year and a student had died, a fact he couldn't link to her, but he knew it had been her.
But what else did give her away? It was the red eyes she kept hidden with a glamor, surely the result of some dark arts ritual. And her magic. It was so dark, seeming to envelop them and swirl around them as if it had a life of its own, as if it were so normal to have such an aura.
So how did he end up like this? He'd only called her into his office to try to set boundaries or let a brief threat hang over her, not this. -
