He shook his head. “He’s got to be dead and buried. No magical signature, no wand use, no sightings, nothing. It’s unheard of if a magical person is alive, even if they are clever. There is always a tell eventually. He escaped Azkaban, and poof, gone like a ghost. Maybe he drowned and never left Scotland.”
Hermione doubted that. She always gave Draco far more credit than anyone else did. She didn’t know how long he survived after fleeing the infamous prison, but she doubted he let the North Sea take him out.

I'm really bad at writing summaries but I can say that this is a series rewrite starting with Harry actually getting his first Hohgwarts letter and then running away from the Dursleys. Oh, and what if the adults actually did their jobs?
This will include multiple animagus forms, duelling, politics, and mini-harems, and an independent Harry!
Ok, I've been told I should clarify....by mini-harem I don't mean Harry has four wives, I mean five people in a fully-equal relationship.

Thunderstorms were a good time to take Moony out into the forest. The noise covered most of his howling, the rain kept him slow and careful, and most of the more dangerous creatures would be settled in for the night. This one had been textbook, with the night tilting back over towards the day with no issue. Then they looked back at the werewolf, noting his raised ears and slowly sniffing nose.
