For synesthete Till, Ivan is not just a person, his best friend, his bully, or his music's biggest fan; Ivan is colours, sounds, scents, & sensations all unique to him that give Till such incredible longing. As with everything else, though, Till feels Ivan will just tease him if he ever tried to tell him, so he keeps it to himself, along with all the tender feelings he holds for Ivan, despite their confusing relationship.
Ivan calls after school to ask if he can help with Till's insomnia, but it turns into Till confronting him about the bullying. Surprisingly, Ivan genuinely apologizes & tries to take responsibility, which he's never done before. Trying to keep the momentum, Till accepts his offer & Ivan intends to bore Till to sleep by reading from his homework. That is Absolutely Not what happens, but Ivan is sure under the impression it is.

“So you attended my other shows, huh?” Till prompts.
“All of them,” Ivan corrects.
“Thank you,” Till replies, face warming up. “I—I don’t really know what else to say, I’ve never had fans before.”
“You do have fans, you just ignore them.” Ivan is still smiling at him, his face impossible to read. “But that’s okay, I’m sure none of your other fans love you the way I do. After all, I’m your biggest, most loyal fan.”
Somehow, Till has the distinct feeling that Ivan isn't even exaggerating.
OR: The one where Till is a bassist in a small rock band who has a not-so-low-key crush on his best friend, Mizi, and is just trying his best to get by in this hellscape called life, but gets irrevocably entangled in Ivan's web instead.

Ivan wasn't entirely sure what he had done to gain Till's ire.
Ivan meticulously thought back to the happenings starting from earlier in the week which wasn't as arduous a task considering he was a man of routine; wake up, exercise, read, go to class, football practice, dinner, personal time, study, sleep.
Rinse and repeat.

Excerpt from Chapter 9:
“Till lightly placed his fingers on Ivan's shoulder, bending over slightly to close in to his face, "Pervert." He breathed out, the click of Till taking off the belt on his waist drawing in Ivan's eyes. The holster that held pens and other miscellaneous things fell to their feet. Till's arms wrapped themselves around Ivan's neck and hooked his left leg over his lap, then his right leg followed. Ivan's eyes widened when Till looked up at him, sitting prettily on his lap. Ivan blinked, his hands twitching on the armrest.
Till smirked at his dumbfounded expression. The guitarist unwrapped his arms from his neck and snaked his hands around Ivan's large wrists digging under Ivan's gloves and slipping them off, bringing calloused palms to his exposed stomach, slowly dragging them up his torso. Till flexed a bit when Ivan's rough thumbs grazed his nipples lightly. It was then Till let go of Ivan's wrists and lifted his arms and the large man knew to take off the annoying fabric.”
