He trudged up the stairs to the bus and tapped his metrocard on the scanner, silently dreading the next time he’s going to have to refill it. Dazai made his way down the center aisle, and sat down across a cute redhead, who eyed him skeptically when Dazai gave him a small half- smile, then turned back to his book. He sighed and took out his phone to check social media.
Dazai looked down at his phone for the duration of the ride to the university, thumbing through twitter, but his eyes wandered up every so often to take in the man across from him.
Or the one where they meet, become friends, and fall in love on a bus… and annoy their friends along the way

when venti spends his night(s) falling asleep to a certain passive-aggressive youtuber's video, the last thing he expects is for it to result in the entirety of his youtube fanbase mocking his unfortunate luck and, simultaneously, questioning what his sobriety had been in the moment. and, even after months of mourning the sprawling size of the city and his (somehow) apparent lack of connections, venti isn't sure he can find any positive in the situation.
