Yuu frowns at that part, he hates thinking about all the androids that get thrown away in a year for things out of their control like out of date hardware. Mitsuba continues, blind to Yuu’s internal frustrations.
“Some people think the basement is haunted by zombie androids, scraped forgotten androids that want nothing but revenge on the humans that threw them away.”Yuu watches as Mitsuba drains his bottle of water, then leans back on his arms.

Summary
Mika pouts as Yuu reaches again making Mika dance out of his way “C’mon Yuu-chan just indulge me for a minute!” When Yuu’s third attempt at seeing whatever is being kept from him fails he finally groans and gives up.
“Fine! But it better not be anything weird!” Yuu closes his eyes and holds out his hand impatiently.
“I know you said you didn't want anything, but I couldn't help myself.”
Yuu went to protest, then something was placed in the middle of his palm. It's warm, and heats his skin with just the touch, his jaw closes with a snap and he opens his eyes, and what he sees renders him speechless as Mika rambles in front of him.
Nestled in Yuu’s palm is a pendant, made of clear glass that's welded together by gold that matches the chain.

Yuu goes to take his now ruined jacket off, turning to ask Mika if he's okay only to stop short, the words dying on his tongue.
Mika is pushing wet hair out of his eyes, watching the rain hit the brick walkway in front of them. He's smiling Yuu notes, smiling and absolutely flushed from the running. They have been dating for a while now, friends for even longer and Yuu is still constantly amazed by how beautiful Mika is.

The news, a static through the radio moved from the weather on to the increase of thefts in the town, local farmer's crops going missing, anything ranging from apples, pumpkins, honeydew, carrots and so on. To even sometimes eggs from chicken coops going missing.
Snorkmaiden and Alicia suspected raccoons and crows so they invested in scarecrows, and traps. They didn't think there was any reason to worry much more than that.
That is until a local parkeepers signs were torn out of the ground, and the fences were cut down. And pies set to cool were taken from windows sills. Now almost everyone in the town was on high alert, and Snorkmaiden had regrets about spending money on useless traps.
Moomin wasn't particularly worried though, he is prepared to protect his farm.

Working with angels can drive a man insane, if only because it's often likened to bashing your head into a brick wall, repeatedly, while the angel looks on in chaste delight on watching the human perform. Aventurine, however, can roll with the punches; his angel is weird, and often disconcerting, but he sure is nice to look at.

Macaque snorts. “Guess we'll have to sit here and find out, huh?”
