Summary
He remembered the year of 1885 when it was no longer just Hosea, Dutch and Arthur. Their family grew that summer when Dutch brought home a snively little twerp named John, saved from a hanging for theft. Dutch saw something in that little boy, the same as he had in Arthur. Brought them both into the fold and made them brothers. 10 years apart wasn’t so much now when he looked at John, all grown up, a man by any standard. Arthur could admit he was proud of John, that he had a stupid, but sensible, head on his shoulders and a decent moral compass. He had turned out alright.

This story follows the gang and includes events that happened pre-game. It was originally going to be a series of one-shots but grew into a character study of sorts. The gang has been through its fair share of heartbreak, but there was also a lot of good in the past.
