Summary
They did not have a falling-out. At least, not really. They just stopped needing to be together to get new acting jobs. Then life got busy. Hectic film schedules, events, press, family time. It became harder and harder to find time to be together. Phone calls and texts became fewer and farther between. Before they knew it, they had stopped talking to each other altogether.
It happened so slowly that Nat didn't really notice. People began to forget them, they became a distant, fond memory from another time. They saw each other in passing, at ceremonies, at events. Always cordial, but without anything to share. Nat is 30 now, Max will be 39 soon, and they should be over it, but somehow they're not.
Or MaxNat 10 years down the road, not working together anymore but still caring deeply from afar.
