Simeon’s face was pressed against the wooden slats of the walk in closet. He had been inviting himself into Bronco’s apartment whenever he was in the country, taking advantage of the spare key Bronco gave him, all without ever informing him that he was coming over.
Lately, Simeon had been visiting, and performing his stress relief ritual, almost every night. He needed to make the most of this opportunity, because pretty soon Bronco would be sent back to Zheng Fa, and by the time he came back he would be in jail.

The sun shined softly outside, and Jimmy felt his cheeks twitch slightly from smiling. He hadn't smiled in a long time, but lately he'd been doing it more and more often - therapy had done them both good, even if at first it had seemed silly and unlikely to mend their shredded marriage.
But, despite everything, they had managed to sew up the holes in their relationship. They’d decided to try something different. It was their psychologist's advice, who believed that Curly ceding control to Jimmy would help strengthen their relationship. Not that Jimmy was a big believer in it, but it was worth a try.

The filming was a pretty calm affair. The cast worked well together. Jimmy had even apologised a couple of times to Anya for interacting with her like this. She’d just laughed it off, and smiled so softly that all his worries faded into the background.
Well, almost all of them…
There was just one person on the set that Jimmy couldn’t get comfortable around: His scene partner, Orion “Curly” Carling. It was ironic that, in the script, their characters were close. Old friends, always ready to watch each other's backs, but Jimmy, on the contrary, tried not to turn his back on the man too often. The other man’s gaze felt sticky on his skin.
It was getting to the point where Jimmy could only breathe easy when there was a cameraman between them.
