Silvey wakes up in a new world that, while she doesn’t remember anything, is different from anything she was used to. There are persistent memories that desperately try to claw their way back, but she isn’t sure she wants them. The only sure thing is the village’s chef, who always has a bowl of soggy lettuce soup or a few flirty words for her. Their paths entwine and their pasts refuse to be left in the past, but together they can handle it. As they're starting to realise they are deserving of love, something dark brews in the shadows.
