Dabi. How on earth had Hawks ended up in this mess? He is a literal murderer who regularly burns people to death. He is an asshole to everyone and has a god-awful temper. The only person he seems remotely fond of is Toga, he acts like he barely tolerates anyone else. He’s unhealthily skinny and absolutely covered in horrific scars. Keeping Dabi as just his mark should have been easy. But Keigo saw the beauty in his patchwork face and long legs, the caring and love for others that he tried to hide with insults. The silent displays of affection, the vulnerability of a man who was broken by life and is just desperately trying to hold the pieces together. Keigo was definitely never supposed to fall in love with his ugly, beautiful, angry, caring, patchwork villain. Now he can never love anyone else.

Another masterpiece. The amount of times I cried while reading this, it's insane. Beautifully written with emphasis if Hawk's bird characteristics and real consequences of being villains (no money). Deserves a standing ovation. In love with this author.

“Your majesty.” The man in horrifically opulent robes bows low, the ridiculous sleeves pooling on the floor in a puddle of silk. “We have brought you a spoil of war, captured during the battle of Kamino, a rare and exotic creature for your household.” Touya sits up a little in interest, this was rather unusual as far as presents for his father went. The doors open with a heaving groan, and Touya leans forward in open interest. He was expecting a large cage to be wheeled in, containing some fantastical creature like a small wyvern or a kirin. Instead the servants yank on heavy chains, pulling in a young man with massive crimson wings.
“A harpy, your majesty, tamed and trained for battle by the enemy. He was captured in combat, and has spent the last six months undergoing training to become a suitable pet for the royal household. I give him to you, your majesty, to serve whichever role his highness pleases.”

Literally the best au dabihawks/hotwings fic ever. Never read anything better than this to date. Rollercoaster of emotions. Some moments felt so intimate that my breath caught and I felt as though I was intruding. Story line fell together so perfectly that with a lot of twists and turns that kept me on my toes. Character development makes perfect sense, new development doesn't just poof, magically appear, it falls into the plot line.
