“What is your name?” The King asked, his voice deep and eyes fierce.
“Uh... Luigi.” The human shuddered unsure if it was more from fear or how intense the other’s gaze was.
“Not sure if you know who I am, but I'm about to marry a princess and-” The ruler purred menacingly, he put a claw finger under Luigi’s jaw to lift his head. The King’s scales were warm on his skin, crystal blue eyes locked with ruby ones as time slowed. The ruler’s focus shifted, for only a second, and noticed a mark on his scales that had not previously been there before. It was small on his right arm, a single primrose and a marigold in full bloom.

The Super Mario Brothers: Mario and Luigi stumble into the Mushroom Kingdom and the Koopa Kingdom, respectively. Luigi unintentionally halts the Koopa King from his attack on the Kingdom of Snows, and from getting the Super Star.
In this world soulmates are very much a real thing, revealed upon skin-to-skin, or in this case, skin-to-scale contact. The soulmate mark is a living, breathing embodiment of the pair's bond. What lengths will the Fearsome ruler of the Badlands go to rid himself of this mark which is clearly a mistake because he only has eyes for Princess Peach?- Language:

Summary
Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.
