    Months ago, Prince Apollo had embarked on an impossible mission of slaying a monster terrorizing his Kingdom's lands, and finally, he came back successful. The King, joyous at the news, promised his son whatever he might ask for as a reward (assuming the boy would ask for more lands or even a better position at the council), only for him to ask for the only thing he's ever wanted: The hand of his cousin in marriage.

    Archbishop Nilis witnesses the consummation of this new royal couple, judges really hard, and just wants them to be done so he can finish his record-keeping but that seems to be too much to ask.

    The ocean might be possessive, but so is the sun. And if Poseidon was careless enough to let Perseus out of his sight, well, that wasn’t Apollo’s issue, was it? 
    But Apollo had witnessed Hades abducting Persephone and the aftermath. He has little desire to replicate that particular story. So, through grit teeth, he lets Percy leave when the sun drowns in the ocean, leaving the sky dark and twinkling with stars.

    Perseus could be sure that the next time they met, he wouldn't leave again.

Their birth was announced by an awkward Helios, asking if he could pick which girl would be his bride or if they would rather choose for him. The two gods, still basking in their afterglow, asked what girls he was talking about.

    The Titan of the Sun merely pointed down, and following his finger, Poseidon and Aphrodite finally saw who the blonde was referring to. In the space where the sand meets the sea, stood two confused-looking girls holding each other’s hands.
