Zuko furrowed his eyebrows, annoyed. There was no way in here or the Spirit World that that would happen, that the people from His nation would actually agree to tha—“That sounds great, Sokka! me and Katara can do it too!” All of them turned around to face Toph and Aang, with Momo on his shoulders.
The crowd cheered at the sight of the Avatar. Along with people murmuring in agreement to Sokka’s stupid idea.

Since the end of Hundred Years War seven years ago, Fire Lord Zuko has been isolated in the Fire Palace, fending off assassinations and mending the Fire Nation and its burnt bridges, all while putting off the Fire Sages' demands that he take a wife. When Iroh finally finds him a match, he reluctantly agrees to the marriage, with the expectation of never speaking to her again and sending her off to Ember Island.
It proves to be more difficult than he expects though, when he realizes that his new wife is as stubborn as a dragon moose.

The Phoenix Guard, a sympathetic Ozai faction, has tried (and failed) to assassinate Fire Lord Zuko and ultimately restore Ozai to his throne. Their usual intimidation methods and attacks aren’t working and so they have no choice but to try something a little different.
Kidnapping the unrightful Fire Lord’s friend, the Water Tribe warrior, and using his life as the bait to lure the soon to be deposed Fire Lord alone into the catacombs is the perfect plan. And when the night ends with two bodies buried deep underground and the rightful Fire Lord and Phoenix King Ozai freed, all will be set right once more.
Unfortunately for the Phoenix Guard, it’s not going to be quite so easy.

An "alternate ending" to Azula's storyline in the show, in the form of a more definitive ending scene for both her & Ty Lee after Zuko's Coronation as Fire Lord. Meant to serve as a scene that could have happened in canon between Zuko's coronation and the final scene of the series, giving an explanation to why Ty Lee (and Azula) weren't present in the Jasmine Dragon with the Gaang.
Also meant as a "happier ending" that better acknowledges Azula as a person following her hitting rock bottom in the Agni Kai.
Takes place a few weeks/month or so chronologically after being defeated by Katara.
Partially inspired by Grey DeLisle's statement that in her perfect world, post-series Ty Lee & Azula escaped to a romantic desert island. -

Father had even gone so far and supplied them with palace guard robes. But they were truly going somewhere. Had Ozai forgotten he had promised that Zuko would never see a flame, and he could forget about the sun?
