They do say love kills, and Laine is the walking sentiment.
This was an incredibly short work that I did when I was bored and wanting to do something quick that was creative while I was doing research work. I've been listening to a lot of queer-coded horror recently and I love lesbians so I created a VERY short queer horror where the woman comes out on top.

Summary
**SPOILERS FOR MALEVOLENT 56**
After her entire family is slaughtered before her eyes on her 18th birthday by the madman known as Kayne, Faroe sets out to find him and get her revenge. She uses the help of her allies in New York and the malevolent entity, Lillith, to make her way through the horrors on her climb up the food chain to Kayne.
I'm bad at writing descriptions, but trust I'm at least an average writer.
It's a faroeverse AU set in 1940s, she's spunky, she's defying authorities, and she's taking after her dad one complicated relationship with an eldritch being at a time.

Summary
Naming it meant giving it an identity, making it something when they were supposed to be just two unrecognizable, unidentifiable humans. Disorders were for the crooked, for people who you could spot in a multitude and point a finger at, a red mark right on their forehead that could so easily mean death for Neil and Mary.
Andrew was the first one to talk about it outloud, breaking the curse that for so long forced Neil to keep quiet, hiding it behind a curtain of smoke just waiting for it to be blown away.
“There's something wrong with your knees.” Andrew didn't ask, he didn't need to when the evidence was right in front of them.
Or, where Neil’s hypermobile and he’s learning to live with it.
