Where’s Hermione?” James shouted over the screams. Sirius shot an incarcerous at the nearest Death Eater, barely grazing the edge of their robes. He spotted Remus fighting on the opposite edge of the lawn, but didn’t see his dream girl anywhere.
Just as he was about to panic, the Death Eater he was dueling was suddenly flying through the air, having been punted away by a car. The window rolled down slowly, and Sirius let out a barking laugh as he saw Hermione behind the wheel.
“Climb in!” She shouted. James and Sirius leaped through the doors and were flung backwards as the car lurched forward suddenly.
“Hang on!” The metal deathtrap flew towards the crowd of Death Eaters, and they suddenly realized what Hermione’s plan was.
“Are you insane?” James screeched.
“Certifiably!” She answered, cackling.
The impact of the first black cloaked body was slightly sickening. Sirius grimaced as he heard it bouncing under his feet as they sped past. Turning to the left, Hermione sped towards the next group. The high-pitched screaming coming from the grown men in the back seat of the vehicle just added to the chaotic ambience. Hermione continued laughing as she bowled through more Death Eaters. This was almost as fun as that time Harry, Ron, and she had stolen that dragon.
The next impact had their opponent flipping up and crashing into the windshield. Shifting quickly into park, the boys were flung forward with a groan.
“Time to disembark, lads!” She noticed the green tinge to their faces. “Look alive! We’ve still got work to do!”
Jumping out onto the pavement, she immediately began casting hexes.
James eyed Sirius with exasperation.
“You couldn’t have picked a normal bird to chase after?”
“At least I will never be bored,” He responded shakily
