Martyn is the King’s hand in a country at war. Or at least they were at war? It’s kind of unclear at this point, what with the whole “enemy kings disappearing seemingly overnight and getting replaced by a band of peasants” thing. But that’s not Martyn’s problem right now. His problem is the end crystal that’s supposed to hold the key to destroying their enemies’ immortality. That he just stole.
Only problem is, what’s inside seems to be a bit more complicated than any old enchantment or magical beast.

Summary
This is a fabulous little world in which Tango and Jimmy live together (*gasp* ranchers propaganda in my fic? it's more likely than you think) and Tango works as a blacksmith (Thomas, why would you chose a job that you know nothing about? Well, you see, I'm an idiot. Also 'cause I said so).
This fantasy world has a government run organization called The Circle. The Circle is known for abducting people known as The Respawners. Respawners are essentially immortal, and can die as many times as they want with zero repercussions.
Unfortunately, both Tango and Jimmy are Respawners, so have to live in constant fear of revealing themselves as such and getting kidnapped for who knows what.
After all, everyone wants to be immortal. Or do they?

Also, I don't know where I read it, but a while ago I saw this idea where the lifers spill glitter when they die (xp) and i took that idea and absolutely yeeted myself across the country with it, so uh... yeah.
