He could feel the eyes on him, tracing his every movement. Hostility, caution, confusion, betrayal. He swallowed it all down as he went to the front of the class and turned to face them.
He knew how to do this. He had been shown many times.

At the time of writing, the manga is just on the verge of revealing Suo's backstory. The fandom has a lot of theories, of course, but I found myself wondering how Suo was ever going to come back to Furin after the events of Chapter 211. This scene is what my imagination presented me with.Followed by a bunch of "could be the truth but probably not" variations.

Summary
All Rhys wanted to do was to coast along in life without a care in the world. While completely freeing himself of responsibility was impossible, The closest he can get is to it is to become a Keeper for the local Guardian, Yuzuha, who remained asleep for a full century and counting. The most action a Keeper sees daily is handling the occasional visitor to the temple, and keeping said temple clean and maintained. The former can be handled by the other Keeper he'll be partnered up with, and the latter can be dealt with via creative use of magic. It sounds like the perfect dream job for a person with aspirations of easy living.
As long as Yuzuha remains asleep that is. But what are the chances of that ever happening?
