   She blinks slowly, the words taking their sweet time hovering between them before making sense. Layla breathes out a sigh of relief, smiling fondly in case Steven is watching.

   ''Oh. That's- Is that it?'' She asks, smiling again when Jake nods. He is pointedly not watching at the candleholder where Steven is probably scolding him. Layla hopes he isn't too mad at Jake and he will see that his 'problem' doesn't have to be a problem at all.

   Layla tries to contain her excitement as she speaks. ''But that's great! Falling in love is amazing. I understand Steven is a bit nervous but he really shouldn't be-''

   ''It's Marc.'' Jake closes his eyes in defeat, obviously feeling guilty for spilling a truth that is not his. ''Steven is in love with Marc.''

   Or, Steven falls in love with Marc and somehow it ends up with them getting separated.
