Summary
In the interest of providing Severus Snape additional strength to withstand Voldemort's Legilimency, Remus Lupin is recruited to participate in a utilitarian marriage bond with him. Remus's distraction during the ceremony leads to an unexpected side effect of the bond.

“That’s it?” Remus said, somewhat incredulously, as the light faded away. He’d expected more, somehow.
Severus nodded, lifting his hand to study the ring on his finger. “Congratulations, against all expectations, you succeeded in participating in the simplest of rituals.”
Remus felt a twinge of annoyance at his words, but it was overlaid confusingly with a sense of satisfaction. He frowned, trying to puzzle out why he would feel satisfied at Severus’s insult.
An expression of concern crossed Severus’s face, and he lowered his hand. He looked at Remus, his brows drawn together. Then his eyes widened, and surprise flooded Remus. It quickly turned to shocked anger.
“Albus, we may have a problem,” Severus growled.

Summary
The third and final story to the Already Home Series!
This is the aftermath of Severus' betrayal, where he must now live with the consequences of it, and making sure everything is going to plan or it would all be for nothing. Remus must keep himself afloat while handling a broken heart and being there for Harry. Soon he may find more than that to deal with... And Harry, he must still carry on and fight even though trust is broken, even though he won't have his dads to guide him. And with all of that happening, separated from war and secrets and betrayal, would they come back together as a family in the end once the final battle is fought? Would Harry and Remus find it in their hearts to understand and forgive Severus for everything, that is if they all survive?

Summary
Severus gives up. He can no longer cope with the torment at Hogwarts nor the abuse at home. He decides that life is not worth it anymore and chooses to end it all by jumping from the Astronomy tower.
