Nel futuro, il MI6 da inizio a un progetto sperimentale che prevede la creazione di androidi senzienti e dalle fattezze umane. Il loro scopo: prendere il posto della fallibilità dell’uomo nel guidare gli agenti double-oh nel campo. Ognuno di essi riceve il suo personale androide, e all’agente 007 James Bond viene assegnato il migliore, quello che guiderà l’intera Q-Branch: Q10.
(In the future, MI6 designs sentient android lifeforms; living, and not so breathing, humanoid robots. Their purpose: to replace faulty human error in assisting Agents out in the field. Every 00 Agent receives their own android. Bond’s? A youthful looking bot programmed with some bite, and the very one that runs Q branch.)

The fear of flying is one of the few things Q hates about himself: he, so rational and cold, forged from mathematics and the reassuring patterns of computer science, which falls to pieces at the sight of a plane and hears the heartbeat straight into jugular.

Alex just keeps staring at the paper for a bit. Henry is barely breathing, scared that Alex will laugh at the note. That he’ll find it embarrassing. But he doesn’t. Instead, he puts his back against the lockers and sighs. “I wish I could find out who it is.”
“Do you— Is there anyone you wish it was?” Henry is definitely scared of the answer. A part of him knows he and Alex can probably never become a reality but it doesn’t stop him from being jealous of anyone Alex might have an interest in.
“Not really.” Henry tries his best to hide his smile at Alex’s answer.

Henry jumped a little, clearly not expecting Alex's presence.
“Good morning, Alex.” Henry put down his glass of water and ran his fingers through his hair. “Sorry for not waiting for you before leaving yesterday.” His face visibly red, he avoided Alex's eyes.
“Don't worry about it." He dismissed Henry's apology and arched an eyebrow, teasingly. "Hope you at least paid your girl dinner firs-” A loud snort interrupted him mid sentence. “What?”
“Alex, my date wasn't a woman.” Henry looked at him as he went on. “I'm gay.”

Henry smiles at the woman, tightening his hold over Alex's hips. He feels Henry’s fingers pressing against his skin as he pushes Alex’s t-shirt up slightly to trail his fingertips over his stomach.
"Oh, hello," Henry says, surprised, as if he's just noticed the woman. As if he hasn't been staring at her from their booth. "Sorry, where are my manners? I'm Henry. Alex's boyfriend."
Alex stops breathing because Henry? Henry isn't his boyfriend.
