He sighed and looked away, looking at the blood that clung to his clothes. He remembers slinging an arm around Jäger's shoulders and helping the French medic haul him to the chopper, Montagne's shield covering their left as they moved. He remembers the sound Marius had made, agony mixed with anguish - the final sounds of a dying animal, begging to be put out of its misery.
