Summary
Harry sees that playing the hero in his first year gets him dumped back at the dursleys with a pat on the back for literally murdering a man and decides fuck it I live like I want now. He goes to gringotts gets an inheritance test finds out he has a reluctant soulmate and that dumbledore is a prick. Shenanigans ensue. This is purely self indulgent and my first attempt at fanfic .

Summary
Imagine a little girl. Any little girl. Imagine her small and alone and frightened in a dark part of london past 12. Imagine a boy holding out his hand and walking with her into a different sort of life.
Dorea Potter does not grow up safe.
She grows up in abandoned carparks, checking the corners for strangers; she grows up watching for the tell-tale flick of a man’s eyes up and down her body as a warning to run, run and not look back; she grows up cataloguing the people round her, picking out weaknesses.
She grows up hungry, always hungry, and sharp along the edges with bones that jut out like cliff faces. She spends her winters cold and her summers hot. She learns to lie so well that some days she’s not entirely sure which of the threads to pick: which life to keep living. She steals and swindles and tucks razorblades into the nest of her hair. she grows like a weed, forcing its way through the cracks of the pavement.
Despite it all, she grows up loved.
This is where the evening splits in two. Grab an end, pull hard and make a wish.
