Summary
Having accumulated great karmic merit in the course of his previous lives, the being now known as Natsuki Subaru, a miserable, 16 year old shut-in, fortuitously receives the opportunity to hear and study the Dharma under a discerning vajrācārya.
When our protagonist appears in Lugunica around two years later, his demeanour consequently deviates rather starkly from the predictions contained within a certain Book of Wisdom.
But aside from the baldness and the weird esoteric magic, to what degree has the Buddhist priesthood changed Subaru, and how much will he change still?
