Summary
Having accumulated great karmic merit in the course of his previous lives, the being now known as Natsuki Subaru, a miserable, 16 year old shut-in, fortuitously receives the opportunity to hear and study the Dharma under a discerning vajrācārya.
When our protagonist appears in Lugunica around two years later, his demeanour consequently deviates rather starkly from the predictions contained within a certain Book of Wisdom.
But aside from the baldness and the weird esoteric magic, to what degree has the Buddhist priesthood changed Subaru, and how much will he change still?

Summary
Natsuki Subaru was born into an Evangelicalist Christian household. When the realization set in for him that he wasn't particularly special, he knew his belief in a minority religion would at the very least make him stand out.
As it turned out, his pagan classmates did not appreciate being warned that they were bound for eternal damnation, and his frequent attempts to preach the Gospel at school served only to make him even more unpopular among his peers.
But lo, one day, the Lord plucked him from his loneliness! And He placed him... on a rural back road somewhere in the countryside—where, of all things, a group of penitents (yes, they had the pointed hoods and everything) came marching up to him!
Oh, they were very nice! Once he showed them his bible, they even let him tag along! The green haired Archbishop leading their procession was a bit eccentric, but Catholics were odd like that...
