Summary
King has agreed to go on a hike with his younger sister, her boyfriend, and her best friend. He didn't love the idea of spending a week on a secluded island with the three of them, but he was interested in where they were hiking. Little did he know when he agreed to tag along, that his group would get paired with two hikers they didn't know.
Diane had been planning this trip with her work friends for quite some time. But last minute, her friend's changed their plans, leaving her and Meliodas to hike the island as a pair. The changes to their plans left them travelling with a group they hadn't met before.
This is told mainly from Diane and King's perspectives, with a bit told from Elizabeth's perspective. It is based mainly around Diane's and King's relationship development, but includes a bit of development between Elizabeth and Meliodas. Ban and Elaine's relationship is well established.

Margaret slowly closes the book she was reading, and then lifts her head up to regard her youngest sister. After sighing deeply through her nose, she leans forward across her desk and props her elbows, gracefully lacing her fingers together. As she leans her chin on her hands, her gaze becomes piercing.
“Elizabeth,” she says, sounding worried and maybe already resigned to fate’s design. “What did you do?”
Elizabeth lets out a nervous, almost giddy chuckle as she hunches her shoulders into a bashful shrug, her wings twitching behind her. She lightly claps her hands together and winks one eye over her fingers.
“So, funny story…”
