I wrote this a long time ago, but finished it only recently. It's a continuation of the scene in book 8 "Written in my own heart's blood", when Claire and John have "carnal knowledge of each other". This scene has now appeared in the tv-show.

Finally, one night after going to put away her favourite toy (The Blissful Broomstick, ordered from Witch Weekly several years ago) and seeing the now-crumpled piece of paper, she made up her mind.
