That, when he told her it was customary to make a wish at festivals like these, and she’d said she wanted to hangout as much as possible for the rest of their trip, that he’d been engulfed in a feeling so warm he was sure he’d melt right into the pavement.
Happiness alighting at his fingertips. Her warmth pressed into him from his side. Juliana crowding his every senses. Maybe it would be easy, to take her hand, and squeeze it tight.
Maybe it would be the right thing to do.
Maybe it, his heart whispers, was what he wanted to do the most.
Or: the affections of youth were tempestuous, and Kieran had been unable to prepare for the storm.

“I haven’t…” she starts, watches his blue eyes narrowed in concern and it’s distracting, everything’s distracting. “I haven’t had a body in a hundred years,” Zelda manages, and shrugs one shoulder, as if to say what can you do? “I was Hylia, mostly, and a little bit me, but I wasn’t a person. I was the sun and the wind and the water and the dirt and I was in a prison and I was the prison. I feel like I’m blindfolded, now, without that sense of the world, but also everything is so bright and loud and close and I hardly know how I’m managing to speak to you when my skin is feeling wind for the first time in a century. It’s…” she trails off, her words failing her, which is infuriating because she’s a scholar, she’s good at words. “It’s a lot,” she finishes awkwardly, for lack of anything better to say.

Zelda has slept with Link a few times, and he always takes care of her very well. Now it's her turn to take care of him.

She was interrupted by the door bursting open. Everyone turned to stare at a rather small boy with long-ish blonde hair and blue eyes who had just thrown himself through the door in a hurry. Aliza raised an eyebrow at him, his hair a mess, tie loose and top button undone.
"Late on the first day, Link?"
He faltered, taking in the scene as he realised he'd not made it in time despite his rush. Zelda frowned a little. He had disrupted her speech which she thought had been going rather well, and for some reason his presence had sent a ripple of giggles and whispers amongst the girls in the classroom.

Zelda begins high school at a brand-new, highly prestigious private establishment. Hoping for a fresh start where no one can judge her for her father's wealth and fame, things are going pretty well... until she's forced into a tutoring job with that annoyingly popular Link kid.
