Summary
After everything, the girls talk. It's messy (there's crying and anger and fear and love), and it ends with a promise: No more lies. It's only afterwards that Rumi thinks of her visit to Celine, and she very promptly decides NOT to share that particular experience with Mira and Zoey, content to let that little snippet of time die quietly in her memories alone (and really, what harm can one more lie be?). But, as Rumi has found out recently, her secrets have a way of coming to light, whether she wants them to or not.
(It starts with a visit from Celine.)

She wants them.
She wants Mira and Zoey so badly, in whatever way, shape, or form that comes in.
For once in her life, Rumi wants to be selfish.
Or: HUNTR/X works towards sealing the Honmoon and falls in love along the way. Pre-reveal Rumi, hiding both her patterns and her wants, loves her girls in whatever way she can until she's free (whether that means shielding Mira and Zoey in fights or pretending to be something she's not). She just has to hold out until the Honmoon’s golden. Straightforward enough, right?

Summary
Zoey sets the glass down on the kitchen island, sighing at the cool relief down her throat. Condensation slides down the glass, and Zoey’s only warning that she isn’t alone is the reflection of twin golden orbs.
It flickers before disappearing altogether.
Huh? Zoey’s brows furrow slowly in confusion.
Zoey turns around—only to shriek as something heavy pounces on her figure. Something rough and wet laps at her cheek, startling Zoey even further from the sudden stimulation against her bare skin. She squirms on the cool marble floor, panicked noises spilling out of her until she… hey, wait a minute—“R-Rumi?!”
“Mhrrph? I mean… hiiii, Zoey.” Bright golden eyes stare down at her, amusement swirling in those gleaming pools. The moonlight from the tall windows reflects in Rumi’s eyes, giving her an eerily beautiful glow that matches her patterns. Her tail sways back and forth behind her, a leisurely gesture that shows off Rumi’s playful nature.
