At first, the negotiations seemed very promising, but after the assassination of Lord Qui-Gon Jinn, all the efforts Anakin had made came to nothing. Summary
Palpatine rules the Empire. Obi-Wan works with the resistance, when he is confronted by his former Padawan, who is now the Emperor´s enforcer. After the violent confrontation, the Jedi wakes up in a tiny prison cell. At first, everything goes as expected. But after Obi-Wan almost dies at the hands of Vader, the Sith Lord starts acting strangely.

Summary
Due to an administrative error, Obi-Wan is deployed on a mission that Anakin's been undercover on for the last month and a half. Which would be fine with Anakin if their solo-mission styles weren't totally, radically different from each other.
See, Anakin adopts a cover, goes to ground, and works the case through a series of subtle investigative procedures designed to not arouse suspicion from the local population.
Obi-Wan, apparently, swans into the nearest cantina and flirts his way into his suspect's bed through a process of indulgent trial and error.
Which would be fine with Anakin if he didn't have to watch it. And if it were some other Jedi flirting with a criminal sleemo and not his master. Oh, and if Anakin and Obi-Wan hadn't accidentally gotten too drunk and slept together six months ago and never talked about it again.
Then it would be fine.
